Facade Improvement Grant Program

The City of Goodyear’s Façade Improvement Grant Program provides matching grant funds to eligible property owners for the purpose of upgrading the appearance of storefronts to stimulate revitalization in Goodyear’s oldest commercial area. 

Eligible improvements: 
   • Exterior painting, cleaning, façade repair
   • Plants and landscaping
   • Exterior Signs
   • Awnings
   • Doors and windows
   • Façade and display window lighting
   • Demolition of obsolete structures
   • Parking lot space renovation
   • Rear access renovation

Property owners are eligible to receive a reimbursement of up to 40% of eligible pre-approved improvement costs. The maximum amount for any individual grant award is $25,000 per individual property owner.  The program was implemented in 2007 and is subject to available funding.
